And now we come to week two of living back with my parents and I'm beginning to adjust to it. Still haven't found a graduate job but seeing plenty of jobs on offer for graduates in the field I've been studying/doing part-time work in for a year and a half so it shouldn't be too long (hopefully!).

With all my unemployed time I've been catching up on games I've been neglecting, watching all the Vampire Diaries episodes I missed (started watching season 1, then got back into it when season 3 came on) going out for runs and lifting my measly 3kg weights every second day (weak arms right here!) whilst also getting my groove back in the kitchen - which can be difficult as back at my parents I have to dodge meaty food. 

Last night I made Marmite Brownies - which I know will make so many you of throw up in your mouth. I've said before that I really like Marmite and don't just use it on my toast. Naturally the brownies tasted a little more bitter than your average chocolate-only brownie so it might not be perfect for all of you sweet toothers out there ;) And for anyone interested in the recipe - it was just your average brownie recipe with a teaspoon of Marmite stirred through.

Also on my health kick I have discovered a new favourite snack: avocado toasties. Very simple to make, delicious (I add spring onions to them!) and extremely healthy. Plus that final picture - it came from Vegetarian Nosh for Students which is a recipe book I can't speak more highly of and this recipe comes very recommended. Nom nom!
